Since 2016, the OCA-CVC and the San Yeh Foundation has granted a Student Leadership Award to a high school student in Henrico and Chesterfield Counties, nominated by their respective school administrators as a model of scholastic achievement, civic/community service, and leadership. The award is also given to high school students from the OCA-CVC family who are nominated by one of the OCA-CVC Board members.

Congratulations to our 2022 winners!
We’ve awarded a $5,000 scholarship to Shun-Tzu Yeh who is currently attending the graduate nursing program at Case Western Reserve University. Miss Yeh graduated from the nursing school of National Yangming Jiaotong University in Taipei, Taiwan. She also worked for Taipei Veterans General Hospital for several years until she came to US for study in August 2021. The Foundation is very pleased to give her this scholarship in supporting her studies.

This summer, the Organization of Chinese Americans (Central Virginia Chapter) led a summer camp at the Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia. The San Yeh Foundation, one of the camp's three sponsors, covered 60% of the costs as the key financial backer.
